Montana Museum of Railroad History

A great place for family fun, the Montana Museum of Railroad History tells a story of Montana’s railroads, the people who built and operated them, and their role in the development of Montana.  The museum displays two large, operating, scale-model railroads.  Everexpanding exhibits show towns and landscapes from the surrounding area, and railroad lovers of all ages watch intently as the trains maneuver over trestles and through tunnels.  The museum also displays historic Montana railroad artifacts and the full-sized Burlington Northern Railway Caboose #12377.
